2019 Robert Burns Supper (Burns Night)

A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of Robert Burns (January 25, 1759 – July 21, 1796), a popular Scottish poet. Suppers are typically held on or near his birthday and are known as Robert Burns Day, or more commonly, Burns Night. Join us as for an evening of poetry, music, and a multi-course meal paired with whiskies from around the world.
Robin Robinson and Bikram Singh will be your guides for the night, with Tim Holmes on bagpipes and Gordon Craig reciting poetry. Courses will be prepared by executive chef Matt Bauer and will be paired with whiskies from Blackadder, Chieftain’s, Spey and Amrut.

Over the last few years, our end of year rare whisky tasting has become a favorite for enthusiasts. This eagerly anticipated tasting is our way of thanking our incredible patrons for their support and encouragement all year long. What is a unicorn whiskey? This term generally refers to rare and allocated whiskies that are highly sought after by enthusiasts and collectors. While many of these bottles are opened and consumed, many are also traded or sold for hundreds or even thousands of dollars over retail. Join us December 8th at 12:30 PM or 5:30 PM for a tasting that will provide patrons the opportunity to sample and taste these hard to find whiskies.
At the conclusion of the tasting, we will be hosting an attendee exclusive raffle for the opportunity to purchase one of these rare and allocated whiskies. Each attendee will receive a raffle entry with admission. The MLB Club Series is a 2014 California Red Wine created from grapes sourced from the most prized Central Coast & Lodi vineyards. Blending allows for creating complexity, aromas, and consistency. 60% Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Monterey County Merlot were used to produce flavors of cassis, blackberry, cherries, tobacco, and spice resulting in a wine that is food friendly or can be enjoyed on its own. This wine was aged in French and American oak for 11 months adding hints of vanilla and toast.
