Rolling Fork – Small Batch Rum – The Amburana Odyssey – Distilled in Barbados by Foursquare Distillery (Batch No. AMB-FS-2023, 60.3% ABV)

The Amburana Odyssey is a blend of 4 casks of rum distilled in Barbados by Foursquare, two 9y casks and two 11y casks. The batch is 120.6 proof at cask strength.

Each rum was aged for at least 6 months in a bourbon Amburana cask, then aged at least another 6 months in toasted canton rye or toasted canton bourbon casks.

Out of our batch of 140 cases, we only have 25 left, and we have some other interested parties. However, given that Dan Silva is in Boston, I’d like to land some there. It will appeal to a lot of whiskey drinkers, as Amburana finishing is all the rage right now in bourbon.
