Savanna HERR White – Reunion Island
62% ABV | 700 ml | Molasses-Based | Pot Still | Unaged
The iconic Savanna HERR (“High Ester Rum Reunion”) returns — a singular creation from the Savanna distillery on Réunion Island, prized for its extraordinary aromatic intensity. Distilled from molasses sourced at the Bois Rouge sugar factory and double-distilled in a pot still, HERR undergoes a long fermentation of 5–11 days, often incorporating vinasse and cultivated bacterial cultures to push ester levels sky-high.

Mhoba – Mpumalanga, South Africa
62% ABV | 700 ml | Unaged | Pure Cane Juice | Pot Still
Habitation Velier’s first-ever collaboration with Mhoba Distillery showcases the bold spirit of South African rum-making. Crafted from freshly pressed juice of organically grown N49 and N57 cane varieties in the Mpumalanga River Valley, this rum exemplifies artisanal precision. It combines two wild fermentations — a 28-day dunder-rich fermentation and a 14-day open-air fermentation — each distilled in handmade pot stills built by Mhoba’s visionary distiller, Robert Greaves. The finest cuts were meticulously blended to achieve a distinctive, high-congener profile.
Congeners: 3019.7 g/hlpa

Together, these 2025 Habitation Velier releases reaffirm the brand’s mission: to showcase the world’s most distinctive distilleries, techniques, and terroirs — bottled “pure pot still” and at natural strength, preserving the raw character of each rum’s birthplace.
