West Cork Black Cask Irish WhiskeyWest Cork Black Cask Irish Whiskey is a meticulously crafted blend of 66% grain and 34% malt whiskey. Initially aged for three years in first-fill bourbon casks, it undergoes an additional year of “polish maturation” in heavily charred bourbon barrels. This innovative process imparts a beautifully balanced character to the whiskey, featuring a harmonious mix of vanilla, malt, and a lingering sweetness.

West Cork IPA Cask Matured Blended Irish WhiskeyWest Cork IPA Cask Matured Blended Irish Whiskey is a delicate blend of 75% grain and 25% malt whiskey. It is first aged in first-fill bourbon casks and then finished in barrels that previously held Black’s of Kinsale IPA. This unique maturation process creates a whiskey with a mildly hoppy character, complemented by sweet undertones and a finish featuring roasted nuts, malt, and sweet spices.

West Cork Barrel Proof Irish WhiskeyWest Cork Cask Strength Irish Whiskey is a bold blend of 66% grain and 34% malt whiskey. After blending, the whiskey is recessed in bourbon casks for an additional six months to marry the flavors together. The result is a high-proof whiskey with vibrant notes of dried fruits and orange peel, delivering a robust and complex flavor profile. Bottled at a whopping 62% ABV, this expression is perfect for those who appreciate a powerful, flavorful whiskey experience.

West Cork Single Malt Glengarriff Series Peat Charred CaskThe ‘Peat Charred Cask’ release is one of two expressions in the Limited ‘Glengarriff Series’ by West Cork Distillers. Peated whiskey is not so prevalent in Ireland, this certainly doesn’t mean that peated Irish whiskey is not good as West Cork Distillers have proven with this unique expression. This whiskey is triple distilled single malt Irish whiskey which is initially matured in Sherry casks before being finished in casks that have been heavily charred using peat harvested from the local boglands of Glengarriff Forest in West Cork.

The ‘Bog Oak Charred Cask’ release is one of two exclusive expressions in the Limited ‘Glengarriff Series’ by West Cork Distillers. West Cork Distillers are very unique in their own approach to Irish whiskey and this unique expression is no letdown. It is bottled at 43% ABV.
