West Cork Black Cask Irish Whiskey is a meticulously crafted blend of 66% grain and 34% malt whiskey. Initially aged for three years in first-fill bourbon casks, it undergoes an additional year of “polish maturation” in heavily charred bourbon barrels. This innovative process imparts a beautifully balanced character to the whiskey, featuring a harmonious mix of vanilla, malt, and a lingering sweetness.
