Ticket: Introduction to Cricket & Blind Whisky Tasting (July 26, 2019)
$25.00
Cricket is the oldest organized sport in US history. Get to know the roots of cricket in the Americas with Bikram Singh and Baljit Gill. Learn the rules of the game and make use of this knowledge in a short (6 over, 1 inning) match. Teams will be made by picking randomly among attendees. A brief drinks break will follow the first inning.
Those that play golf may be familiar with the 19th Hole, a term for a pub, bar, or restaurant at which the post-game fun continues. Cricket’s version of the 19th Hole is the Third Inning, which will take place at Norfolk Wine & Spirits as the teams make their way from Wrentham, MA to Norfolk, MA for a blind whisky tasting paired with an assortment of foods. The tasting will be comprised of 12 whiskies in total, 6 to be selected by Bikram Singh and 6 to be selected by Baljit Gill. These whiskies will all be ranked by attendees and the winner of the cricket tasting event will be determined at the end of the night. The foods to be paired with the whiskies include:
- Cucumber and Veggie Sandwich
- Salmon Sandwich
- Lamb Sliders
- Seekh Kebab (Lamb, Chicken)
- Sauteed Shrimp Masala
- Chicken Tikka
- Cocktail Samosas
