Sattlerhof Sauvignon Blanc

This is a village-level wine from the estate’s Gamlitz vineyards. The steeply sloping vineyards are located between 350 and 450 meters above sea level and possess a distinctly cool microclimate. Vinification occurs in stainless-steel tanks with 12-18 months of aging on its lees before bottling. This is one of the world’s great Sauvignon Blanc terroirs where the variety benefits from complex soils, a long growing season, & dramatic shifts in temperature from day to night. The wine shows ripe stone fruit flavors while still being light, lively, & highly aromatic thanks to the cooling influence of the Alps.
