Santa Maria La Palma Cannonau di Sardegna Le Bombarde 2015

Le Bombarde takes the name from the beach where, even today, there are vineyards of Cannonau (Sardinian Grenache) and Monica di Sardegna red grapes. The cannons on the label are the symbol of the defence and pride of the Sardinian coastal territory, that over the centuries has suffered invasions by many. They are the emblem of the strong and determined character of these grapes. In the glass intense ruby red, bright. On the nose cranberries, red currants, notes of plums and some roasted coffee, herbs and flowers. It is dry, full-bodied, warm, robust yet light, but vigorous with fine balanced tannin structure. Little pepper at the end with tart finish.
