Raeburn Pinot Noir 2021
Pinot Noir from Russian River, Sonoma County, California
NOTE: Label is stained/damaged. Wine is fine.
Brilliant crimson in color, Raeburn Pinot Noir leads with pleasing aromas of baking spice and vanilla. The palate is marked with stunning fruit flavors of lush wild blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry with undertones of roasted hazelnut. The finish is graceful and sophisticated.

This pure-tasting, appetizing and tangy-textured wine cuts generous red and black cherry flavors with vivid acidity and tingly tannins. The structure is lip-smacking now and will promote further aging through 2027.

COMMENTARY: The 2021 Raeburn Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is bright and weighty on the palate. TASTING NOTES: This wine offers aromas and flavors of ripe berries, even some boysenberry notes, and shading of oak. Enjoy it with pan-fried lamb chops. (Tasted: August 30, 2022, San Francisco, CA)
About the producer
The name Raeburn, traces its origins to Olde English, and translates to “the stream where one drinks.”
The Russian River Valley is a unique sliver of the world that produces Chardonnay of class and distinction. At Raeburn we see a synergistic relationship between the land that yields beautiful Chardonnay fruit and its caretakers. We see our role as stewards of a distinct land that rewards us with high quality fruit. The Russian River Valley’s watershed provides a unique habitat for flora and fauna, including Coho salmon, Steelhead trout, herons, egrets and deer.
These creatures thrive under the same temperate, marine-influenced conditions that create exceptionally flavorful Chardonnay grapes. The flora and fauna have woven themselves into the same fabric of terroir that we look to in producing outstanding Chardonnay. Our goal is to protect and enable both vineyards and their inhabitants to thrive.
