Virtual Tasting: Akashi-Tai Japanese Sake
Join us Friday, June 5th at 7:30 PM for a virtual sake tasting featuring three expressions from Akashi Sake Brewery in Japan. WSET Level 1 Sake Certified, Brian Johnson will guide us through the tasting of these hand-crafted sakes via Zoom. To prevent Zoom-bombing, the Zoom session data will only be sent to participants after they’ve purchased their take-home tasting kits.
Take-home tasting kits cost $50.00 each and include the three bottles and additional items listed below:
- Akashi-Tai Honjozo Tokubetsu Japanese Sake (300 mL) – Regularly $16.99
- Akashi-Tai Junmai Tokubetsu Japanese Sake (300 mL) – Regularly $18.99
- Akashi-Tai Shiraume Ginjo Umeshu Plum Flavored Japanese Sake (500 mL) – Regularly $19.99

Pickup will be available at Norfolk Wine & Spirits starting at 4:30 PM on Monday, June 1st. Delivery of sake kits to those within our free local delivery range will be made before 7:00 PM on Friday, June 5th.
