A relatively uncommon independent bottling of Dalmunach, matured for nine years in a refill bourbon barrel and bottled as a single cask at 52.8% ABV.
Dalmunach is a comparatively young distillery, having begun production in 2014, so independent single-cask examples remain particularly interesting opportunities to explore the developing identity of the spirit outside of blends.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Ripe pears, crisp apples, honey and creamy fudge.
Palate: Slightly earthy and waxy with lemon zest, stewed apples and cinnamon.
Finish: Medium to long with star anise, nutmeg and bright citrus.
Distillery Profile – Dalmunach
Dalmunach is one of Scotland’s newest large malt distilleries. Chivas Brothers began production there in 2014, building the distillery on the site of the former Imperial Distillery in Speyside. Much of its production is intended for the blending requirements of its parent company, making independently bottled single-cask examples an interesting way to taste Dalmunach on its own.
