The stretch of the Danube river valley that flows through Lower Austria experiences a great diurnal range, making the wines produced in these areas highly aromatic and well balanced. The deep silt-based “löss” (or loess) soils are treasured for being among the most fertile soil types in the world. The “Floss” glows golden in the glass, enticing flourishing florals on the nose, with silky citrus and bitter almond on the palate, and refreshingly low in alcohol!
Serving Suggestions: Tandoori chicken w/kachumber salad. Sichuan crispy fried carp. Sweet potato and rice stew w/coconut milk and ginger.
