Virtual Tasting: Rum Cocktails and Battle of the Rum Isles

Join us Thursday, July 30th at 7:30 PM for a virtual rum tasting. You will create three craft rum cocktails and sample five different sipping rums as we meet the people behind the rums. This tasting takes us to the various islands as we compare different styles of rum. Joining us will be Turner Wathen of Rolling Fork Spirits (Independent Bottler), Benjamin Jones of Rhum Clement and Brendan Edwards of 21st Century.

Included in your tasting kit:

• Ti Punch Kit (Branded Glass, Le Bois Lele, Raw Sugar, Fresh Lime)
• Q Spectacular Kola (6.7 Oz)
• Butchertown Ginger Beer (12 Oz)
• $35 credit good towards any of the rums sampled

• Rolling Fork Rum Batch 2020B1 – 11 Years Old ($89.99, limit one per person)

You’ll need:

• Ice
• A knife to slice fresh lime
• Collins or tumbler for cocktails
• A brandy snifter, glencairn or copita glass for nosing rums

Pickup will be available at Norfolk Wine & Spirits starting at 5:00 PM on Saturday, July 25th. Delivery of tasting kits to those within our delivery range will be made before 5:00 PM on Thursday, July 30th.
