Join us on Thursday, September 3rd at 7:30 PM for a virtual Bluegrass concert and Heaven Hill Bourbon & Rye whiskey tasting with Global Whiskey Ambassador Bernie Lubbers! Known by many as the The Whiskey Professor, Bernie has twice been named a Global Icon of Whiskey and Whiskey Ambassador of the Year by Whisky Magazine. He wrote the book “Bourbon Whiskey – Our Native Spirit” and is the host of the popular website whiskeyprof.com.

Bernie will be leading his “Bourbon Thru Bluegrass” experience in which he plays live bluegrass music while leading guests through a tasting of Heaven Hill Whiskeys. You’ll hear the rich stories of how bourbon was created in the early days of America, from the late 1700’s to today. You’ll learn about the early pioneers, farmers, distillers, and characters that helped start and grow it. You’ll hear about those who tried to destroy it through Prohibition, and those that stayed the course and brought it back from the ashes.

Experience live Kentucky music performed right in front of you; with songs from the same time periods to match the stories, and taste whiskeys that are specifically selected to bring those stories alive. History, live Bluegrass music, plus Kentucky Bourbon together all create a one of a kind experience that you will remember fondly.
