Warenghem, which began producing whisky in 1983, has established itself as a true pioneer. Especially since in 1998, the Breton distillery made history by unveiling the very first French single malt under the Armorik brand. Since then, David Roussier, its general manager, has considerably improved the various stages of production of its whiskies and even called upon the advice of the late Jim Swan. Moreover, while Warenghem has remained faithful to its two pot stills, since the early 2000s, it has diversified by focusing on Breton oak species and local barrels.
