Cricket is the oldest organized sport in US history. Get to know the roots of cricket in the Americas with Bikram Singh and Baljit Gill. Learn the rules of the game and make use of this knowledge in a short (6 over, 1 inning) match. Teams will be made by picking randomly among attendees. A brief drinks break will follow the first inning.
Those that play golf may be familiar with the 19th Hole, a term for a pub, bar, or restaurant at which the post-game fun continues. Cricket’s version of the 19th Hole is the Third Inning, which will take place at Norfolk Wine & Spirits as the teams make their way from Wrentham, MA to Norfolk, MA for a rum tasting paired with an assortment of foods, led by Angostura Master Distiller John Georges.

Directions & Parking:
The “Introduction to Cricket” will take place on the field at Crackerbarrel Fairgrounds. Please note that there are multiple fields and we will be playing on the field that is by Emerald Street and Prouty Drive. Parking is available at Prouty Drive by the same field on which we’ll be playing.
Registration:
Tickets are $35.00 per person.
Note: The Introduction to Cricket will be held rain or shine. If you don’t wish to participate, you may skip it and join us at the store for the Angostura Rum tasting.
