The Whistler Imperial Stout Cask

Casks that initially aged single malt whiskey were then filled with the award winning Boyne Brewhouse Imperial Stout, imparting the stouts wonderful rich flavours into the wood. These seasoned casks have made their way back to Boann and were refilled with a blend of Irish malt and single grain whiskeys which bestow deeper notes of roasted coffee and cacao nibs. One of the only Irish whiskeys to utilise wheat whiskey in the blend which gives an incredibly creamy mouthfeel. The blend is made up of 50% wheat whiskey, 35% malt & 15% grain. Limited Edition with only 3,000 bottles produced annually.
