The Single Malts of Scotland – Reserve Casks – Glenlossie 13 yo (48%)

A small batch of five hogsheads from Glenlossie distillery has been used to create this Speyside Single Malt, distilled in 2010 and aged for 13 years. Founded in 1876, this little- known Speysider produces a grassy, fruity, oily spirit that is much sought after in blends – so much so that it’s rarely seen as a Single Malt.

NOSE: Dense with toffee and tarragon. Crème caramel with baked oranges and cinnamon.

PALATE: Creamy with milk chocolate and hazelnuts. Orange and cinnamon give balance to the sweetness with an underlying cassis note coming through.

FINISH: Lingering red fruit swirls with tarragon and mint.
