The Irishman Single Malt Aged 12 Years

The Irishman 12 Year Old is triple distilled and matured exclusively in First Fill Bourbon Casks for a minimum of 12 years. Limited release of 6,000 bottles annually.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: From the exquisite aroma there is no mistaking theinfluence of the ex-Bourbon casks with the light sweet spicy notesof vanilla, cinnamon and even a tincture of clove. All balanced with apples and pears, some charred wood and freshly cut hay.

Taste: The initial sip is a burst of rich flavors, sweet with vanilladelicately bolstered by black peppercorns, reluctantly giving way toa sua succulent fruity mid-section before slowly fading to leave a verysatisfying grassy cereal note.

Finish: A full body, and the lingering succulent flavor of barleyand oak. A touch of creamy dairy fudge and dark chocolateadds to the complexity
