Tequila Tasting: Jose Cuervo (March 30, 2021)

Join us on Tuesday, March 30th, at 7:00 PM, for a hybrid tasting of José Cuervo Tequila, virtually or in-person at The Curry House (Franklin, MA) with Roberto Rosa, Agave Spirits Brand Ambassador.

José Cuervo is the best-selling tequila brand in the world, and it has been around since 1795. Still a family-owned business, it is run today by Juan-Domingo Beckmann, descendant of Don José Antonio de Cuervo.

Though the regular expressions of José Cuervo tequila are made of at least 51% of agave, José Cuervo Tradicional is 100% agave, slow-cooked in clay ovens and then double-distilled in copper stills. The tequila is then rested in oak barrels. Tradicional Añejo is aged in new American oak and Irish single malt whiskey barrels.

Pickup will be available at Norfolk Wine & Spirits starting at 5:00 PM on Friday, March 26th. Delivery of tasting kits to those within our free local delivery range will be made before 6:00 PM on Tuesday, March 30th.

The Zoom link will be sent to participants after they’ve purchased their take-home tasting kits. Must be of legal drinking age (21+) to participate. No refunds.

Due to unprecedented times, in-person attendance is limited to a total of 10 guests with a maximum group size of two persons. This will be a seated event to ensure adequate distancing between groups. The Curry House has asked for masks to be worn at all times, with the exception of when guests are seated at their table.
