Tequila Ocho Single Estate Reposado La Mesa 2025

Tequila Ocho is a celebrated, terroir-driven tequila created by Carlos Camarena and the late Tomas Estes. It pioneered the idea of single estate and vintage production, showing how agave from different ranches expresses unique character. Made from 100% blue Weber agave, slow-cooked in brick ovens, and distilled with minimal intervention, Ocho captures the pure flavor of agave and the land it comes from — authentic, elegant, and unmistakably traditional.

Located in a plateau northwest of Los Alambiques, Rancho La Mesa sits at 2,200 meters (7,217 ft) above sea level. Despite its name, the terrain slopes gently southward, receiving abundant sunlight. Its slightly sandy, calcium-rich soil is fertile and free of stones — ideal for agave cultivation. With just over 100,000 mature agave plants, the harvest averaged 33 kg (72 lbs) per piña with a 29% sugar content.
