Tequila Ocho Single Estate Anejo Mirandillas 2024

Tequila Ocho is a celebrated, terroir-driven tequila created by Carlos Camarena and the late Tomas Estes. It pioneered the idea of single estate and vintage production, showing how agave from different ranches expresses unique character. Made from 100% blue Weber agave, slow-cooked in brick ovens, and distilled with minimal intervention, Ocho captures the pure flavor of agave and the land it comes from — authentic, elegant, and unmistakably traditional.

Rancho Mirandillas, named for the small town it inhabits, sits at 5,200 feet — the lowest-altitude field ever used for Tequila Ocho. The flat terrain, dotted with small stones and layered with deep gray clay, is fully exposed to sunlight. Traditionally used for corn and sorghum, this field saw agave for the first time in over 50 years. The harvest yielded 2,200 tons from 63,000 mature plants, averaging 78 lbs each with an exceptional 31% sugar content.
