About Jayson by Pahlmeyer:
In 1993, three of Napa Valley’s most storied winemakers, Helen Turley, Bob Levy and Randy Dunn, gathered around the blending table with winery founder, Jayson Pahlmeyer. They mused about the results of the exceptional 1992 vintage and pondered over what to do with a few unused barrels from their Pahlmeyer Proprietary Red Blend. They immediately recognized the potential for another extraordinary wine that would complement the quality of Pahlmeyer. Jayson by Pahlmeyer follows the tradition of Pahlmeyer. Every vintage is meticulously made with the attention to detail for which Pahlmeyer is known and trusted.

About Jura Single Malt Whisky:
Jura, a remote island off the West Coast of Scotland. Only 60 miles from the mainland yet it feels like an entire world away; an ancient landscape of wild mountains, peaceful lochs and stormy seas, with just one road, one pub, one distillery and a very distinct micro-climate, it’s not an easy place to make whisky but we believe it’s the best. The Isle is home to only 200 people, & is truly a wilderness to behold. It is a walkers’ paradise, with deer, walking trails and stunning views across the island. The present Jura distillery was built between 1960-63 by Robin Fletcher and Tony Riley-Smith on the grounds of a previous distillery (also called Jura) that had been founded in 1810 but closed and dismantled in 1901. The new distillery was producing malt more akin to the Highland style rather than the heavily-peated whisky of near-neighbours Islay, a strategy that has continued to bear fruit for Jura (although more experimental peated bottlings from the late 1990s are now finding their way to market, to some acclaim).
