This Norfolk Wine & Spirits exclusive from Taconic Distillery in New York is a single barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey distilled from a mashbill of 70% Corn, 25% Rye, and 5% Barley. Barrel #188 was distilled on 3/15/2015 and aged for 2 years and 7 months in a raw cask, char #3, before being bottled on 11/14/2017. Presented NCF (Non-Chill Filtered) and at 60% ABV.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Sweet corn, caramel, vanilla, brown sugar, apple.
Palate: Oak, dark chocolate, brown sugar, peanut, vanilla, sweet corn, caramel, and a long barrel char finish.
