This 12-year-old Clynelish has been given an additional finish in a Corsair Triple Smoke octave, bringing smoky American whiskey-seasoned oak into contact with Clynelish’s famously waxy Highland spirit.

Bottled at 56.5% ABV, it makes a particularly interesting counterpart to the straight refill ex-bourbon Clynelish of the same age and strength.

Taste the two together and the effect of the finishing cask should become the entire point of the exercise.
