Revel Avila Anejo

Revel Avila Añejo is crafted using Blue Weber agave in the state of Morelos, Mexico. The brand positions Avila as a distinct spirits category, named after its master distiller, Noe Avila. What sets Avila apart is the blending of both smoked agaves, similar to the production of mezcal, and steamed agaves, reminiscent of tequila.

To achieve this, some of the agaves are smoked in an underground pit oven, while others are steamed in an autoclave oven. These two styles are blended during fermentation to create a unique flavor profile. Afterward, Revel Avila undergoes triple distillation, enhancing its smoothness and purity.

For the Añejo expression, the spirit is aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, which deepens its complexity. The result is a spirit with a balanced combination of rich oak, smoky notes, agave sweetness, vanilla, and caramel. Its aging process provides a sophisticated and robust flavor, ideal for sipping neat or in premium cocktails.
