Golden syrup cake, woodsmoke, charred bell pepper
Light smoke offers a dry incense style on first nosing but there’s a fruity sweetness underlying in the form of sweet cinnamon, fresh honey and roasted barley.
Smokey honey leads the palate to begin with but is followed by a comforting peppery warmth along with notes of cured meats and charred stone fruits.
A lovely long finish where the sweetness fades to reveal earthy peat, ginger spice and peppered oatcakes.
