Bottled exclusively to commemorate the Vineyard Series (2021–2025), this limited Islay single malt captures both place and purpose in liquid form.

Distilled on August 7, 2019 and bottled on June 4, 2025, the whisky was matured in STR / New Oak—shaved, toasted, and re-charred to amplify depth, structure, and intensity. Bottled at a formidable 58.7% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and natural color, delivering Kilchoman in its most honest, full-throttle form.

Expect classic Islay maritime character—salt air, smoke, and earth—layered with the richness and sweetness drawn from active oak. It’s bold, muscular, and unapologetically expressive, very much in keeping with Kilchoman’s farm-to-glass ethos.

The Islay Series marks five years of Vineyard Series gatherings—events centered on a shared appreciation for purposeful design, mechanical honesty, and time well spent. Though separated by an ocean, Islay and Martha’s Vineyard share a quiet kinship: windswept coastlines, close-knit communities, and a respect for things built with intention.

Produced by Kilchoman Distillery, this release carries a deeper story. The distillery sits on working farmland, rooted in tradition and independence. Family-run and proudly hands-on, Kilchoman focuses on simplicity, function, and legacy—values echoed in the machines, roads, and communities that inspired the Vineyard Series itself.
