This Speyside single malt hails from the GlenAllachie Distillery. Initially matured in a PX sherry butt, the whisky was later decanted into a quarter cask, allowing for a heightened interaction between spirit and oak.

Despite the younger age statement of 8 years, the smaller cask size has concentrated the character, amplifying depth and intensity while retaining the sweetness of the sherry influence.

Nose: Raisins, figs and treacle (a thick, sweet syrup and British baking staple).
Palate: Full bodied at cask strength and bursting with sticky toffee sweetness, soft oak and dried fruits.
Finish: Long with lingering molasses and bitter, dark chocolate.
Natural color, non-chill filtered.
