Lost Lantern is an independent bottler of American whiskey, inspired by a long Scottish tradition. Our founders, Nora and Adam, spent a year traveling across the United States in search of great whiskey. They criss-crossed the country, visiting over a hundred distilleries in dozens of states, and meeting the brave founders and distillers who bet their livelihoods for a chance to make whiskey… often in places where spirits haven’t been made in a hundred years or more.

The best whiskey reflects where it’s made, how it’s made, what it’s made from, and who made it. Lost Lantern’s mission is to shine a light on those whiskies and the independent spirits who make them.

Bourbon’s New Frontier
Great bourbon comes from all across the United States. This special release, the second edition of our flagship bourbon, proves it. It brings together states and distilleries that have never been blended before, creating entirely new flavors that show the depth and breadth of what bourbon can be.

This is a blend of straight bourbons from five distilleries from the eastern half of the United States, ranging from cooler northern climates to the hot, humid Deep South. It has notes of baking spice, dark chocolate, and dried fruits on the nose, with a rich, creamy palate with powerful spice and oak.

Although it has no distilleries in common with the first edition of Far-Flung Bourbon, which is still available in limited quantities, it nevertheless shares a certain similarity in flavor profile. They are both different, but not wildly so, and both are fascinating explorations of the widening world of bourbon.
