Plantation Rum Single Cask Fiji Islands 2009 Matured in Kilchoman Casks

Triple column still & pot still distilled from molasses, this Plantation Rum was tropically aged for 8.5 years in bourbon casks, continentally ageed for 2 years in Ferrand casks, and further matured for 6 months in Kilchoman peated whisky casks.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Empyreumatic, earthy, peated and slightly animal notes, heavy flowers, cigar box, Corinth raisins, dried fig.

Palate: Beautiful, intense and long peat, candied fruits, woody and encaustic, smoky notes, dry vanilla and pecan nut.

Finale: Tobacco, nutty and malty.
