Mi Casa 2 Bottle Bundle (1 each of Alto Grado & Reposado Very Small Batch (VSB))

Last July, Mi Casa distilled their first batch of tequila since 2011. Huge thanks to all of you for helping make this possible, it’s an exciting milestone for the brand. Made the same way it was more than a decade ago with single estate agave from the family’s land in Michoacán, sparkling wine yeast, and deep well water Mi Casa is a grower tequila that celebrates super mature agave and terroir.

Mi Casa Reposado Very Small Batch (VSB)
Mi Casa Reposado VSB is an expression of the individuality that comes with naturally made tequila. Each batch of Mi Casa Reposado Very Small Batch (VSB) is an original.

This first release of Reposado VSB was distilled from the 2024 harvest, which had a range of 39 to 48 brix. The tequila was allowed to condition in stainless steel tanks for 5 months and then went into well used American oak barrels. After resting for 4 months, 8 barrels were specifically selected for the first blending of Mi Casa Reposado VSB.

This first release, with the batch number RVSB-001, produced 2532 bottles at 40.7% ABV.

This batch of Mi Casa was distilled in pot stills to just above 56.13% ABV. When proofing down, we found that 108 (54% ABV) was a special spot that was a beautifully pure representation of the family’s agave and the production style. Since each batch is slightly unique, we may see different proofs on future releases.
