Maclean’s Nose Blended Scotch Whisky

Blended and brought to life by team Ardnamurchan, Maclean’s Nose is a nod to Ardnamurchan’s rugged Western peninsula home, and an homage to the long mentorship the team has received from Mr Charles MacLean. Blended to have a West Coast character with both a high malt content (70%) and a high proportion of ex-Sherry casks.

The bottle labels have been designed in partnership with Scottish artist Reuben Sian de Gourlay. They are made from Crush Barley, a sustainable paper, and include QR codes that share information about the whisky and its make-up.

Bottled non-chill filtered and with no added color at 46% ABV.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Burnished Gold.

Nose: Burnt citrus peel, sea salt, bonfire. Nectarine syrup, lime marmalade, hay bales, coal bunker, and oily shed.

Palate: Puffed rice, homemade rice pudding, and white chocolate. Bright citrus lime pickle. Chantilly cream and Viennetta ice cream. Ferrero Rocher. Hessian. Burning heather and smoked praline.
