Complex and deep nose with plenty of nuance. A fine twist of balsamic with some graphite, cigar box and walnut to the background of cassis and sweet berries. Juicy and medium- to full-bodied on the palate with fine tannins. 92% cabernet sauvignon and 8% syrah.

COMMENTARY: The 2019 Los Vascos Le Dix shows a complex and refined mix of nuances. The wine was “Introduced in 1998 to celebrate Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite’s first ten years in Chile.” Now it is one of Chile’s red wine standard bearers. TASTING NOTES: This wine shines with aromas and flavors of baking spices, dried herbs, and blackberries. Pair it with an oven-roasted, rosemary, and garlic-infused leg of lamb.
