After more than three decades in refill bourbon barrels, the whisky has developed the dessert-like richness that can make old grain whisky so compelling, while retaining an impressive 50.5% ABV.

Tasting Notes
Rich butterscotch and vanilla lead into custard tarts, coconut macaroons and buttery popcorn. The palate develops crème brûlée and ripe apricot, producing an inviting, nostalgic style of mature grain whisky.
Distillery Profile – Port Dundas
Port Dundas was one of Glasgow’s great grain whisky distilleries and an important source of whisky for blending. The distillery ultimately closed, meaning its remaining mature stocks are finite. Independent bottlings such as this provide an increasingly uncommon opportunity to taste Port Dundas as a whisky in its own right rather than simply as a component of a blend.
