“Williamson” is the traditional trade name associated with teaspooned Laphroaig, making this technically an Islay blended malt rather than a single malt.
Matured for 13 years in refill bourbon barrels, this release keeps the focus firmly on mature Islay spirit rather than heavy cask intervention. Smoke, citrus, coastal salinity and medicinal character combine in a whisky that should appeal immediately to lovers of traditionally styled peated Islay malt.

Producer Profile – Living Souls
Living Souls was founded in Glasgow in 2024 by whisky-industry veterans Calum Leslie, Jamie Williamson and John Torrance. Rather than building a conventional core range, the independent bottler searches for distinctive parcels of spirit — single malts, grains and blends — that can be bottled or further shaped through blending and maturation. The philosophy is deliberately centered on flavor and individuality rather than famous names alone.
