Dr. Bill Lumsden and Master Blender Gillian Macdonald set out to capture the vivid colors and aromas of spice markets around the world. For the first time at Glenmorangie, they finished bourbon-aged whisky in four unique cask types to create this striking, complex single malt.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Mustard Gold

Aroma: Wonderfully perfumed with rose, jasmine, carnation, and lilac. A medley of spices—cumin, saffron, nutmeg, ginger, chilli, and anise—layered with sweet oak and chestnut. A few drops of water reveal delicate fruits, menthol, and fresh bread dough.

Taste: A bold, sizzling burst of ginger, black pepper, and mustard seed, softened by mint toffee, demerara sugar, and sugar-coated almonds. A distinct eucalyptus note brightens the finish.
