Garavogue 20-Year-Old Single Malt marks the inaugural whiskey release from Hawk’s Rock Distillery in County Sligo—and the beginning of an ambitious new chapter in Irish whiskey.

Created by Helen Mulholland, the first female Master Blender in Irish whiskey history, this exceptionally mature single malt spent a minimum of 14 years in ex-bourbon American oak before further maturation across an extraordinary collection of casks:

French Muscat • French Sauternes • Pedro Ximénez Sherry • Barbadian Rum

The result is a rare and highly distinctive 20-year-old Irish single malt of remarkable depth and elegance. Aromas of vanilla, warm peach, spun sugar, florals and raisins lead to a beautifully layered palate of citrus, buttery ripe apple and fresh fruit, culminating in a long, refined and gently sweet finish.

Named for the Garavogue River, which flows past the distillery through Sligo and into the Atlantic, this first release is presented in a striking reverse-crescent bottle with wave-inspired detailing—a fitting presentation for a whiskey conceived as both an exploration of maturation and a tribute to its place of origin.

Future Garavogue releases will be limited, small-batch and experimental, exploring different ages, casks and styles of Irish whiskey.

Release No. 1 is where the story begins.

For collectors, this is more than a 20-year-old Irish single malt. It is the inaugural release of a new whiskey house—an opportunity to acquire the very first chapter of what may become a significant new name in Irish whiskey.
