Selected at the legendary Four Roses Distillery Warehouse & Bottling Facility in Cox’s Creek, Kentucky, this private barrel selection was led by Norfolk Whisky Group American whiskey aficionado David Leary, accompanied by David Hutton, Michael “Unicorn” Tartamella, and Bikram Singh.

The barrel-picking experience at Four Roses remains the industry gold standard, and it was both a privilege and an honor for Norfolk Wine & Spirits to select our 115th single barrel.

Norfolk Wine & Spirits made its first-ever single barrel selection in the summer of 2014. Since then, we have selected 116 barrels from distilleries around the world, with 15 of those selections coming from Four Roses.

Every barrel is chosen the same way: not by mashbill, yeast strain, age, ABV, rarity, or reputation—but simply by flavor. The panel selects the barrel they genuinely love most in the glass.

This particular barrel was aged 11 years and 1 month, making it the oldest Four Roses barrel ever selected by Norfolk Wine & Spirits.
