Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful expression of the region’s resilience and the quality it can yield even through a restrained winter, and shows great color, density, and freshness on both the palate and in the nose.

Tasting Notes
This wine is bright, silky, and evolves as it lingers on the palate. Concentrated flavors of plum, dried cherry, blackberry fruit leather, and black tea are complemented by rich, silky tannins and integrated acidity. On the finish, notes of cedar, cacao, nutmeg, and licorice add subtle layers of complexity that lift and provide an elegant structure to the blend while offering a distinctly intense aroma to the nose. 14.5% ABV

Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from diverse vineyards across Napa, including Oakville, Oak Knoll, Rutherford, and south Napa. Selecting fruit from diverse sites, from warm and sunny areas in north Napa to cooler sites in south Napa results in a balanced, complex, and fascinating blend that truly represents this world-class wine region.

We hand-pick our fruit at night, sort the fruit at the winery to keep only the best berries, and age our wine for 18 months in 50% new French oak, lending oak sweetness and toastiness and enhancing texture as the wine subtly evaporates during aging.

Fruit sources from the cool climates of Southern Napa contribute lifted herbal notes and violets, balanced by generous, warm dark berry fruit from up-valley sources. Medium to full-bodied, juicy blackberry and cherry woven around tobacco notes with fine-grained tannins and blood orange acidity through a lovely finish tinged with toasty baking spices. Estate vineyard sources are Sugarloaf Mountain in Napa, Big Ranch on Oak Knoll, and sources in St. Helena, Oak Knoll, and Beckstoffer George III in Rutherford and Colburn in Oakville.
