El Tesoro Mundial Collection: Yamazaki Edition

El Tesoro Yamazaki Edition brings together two celebrated spirits traditions—traditional Mexican tequila and Japanese whisky.

Part of El Tesoro’s limited Mundial Collection, this special release begins with 100% Blue Weber agave tequila produced at La Alteña Distillery in Jalisco using traditional methods. It is then aged in casks that previously held Yamazaki Japanese whisky, adding an unusual layer of Japanese whisky influence to El Tesoro’s distinctive agave character.

Expect cooked agave, honey and citrus alongside vanilla, gentle oak, fruit and warming spice, with the Yamazaki casks contributing additional complexity without overwhelming the tequila.
