Rum et al. is a tiny, cult California distillery run entirely by Dr. Robyn Smith—a one-woman operation led by a PhD chemical engineer and former Lost Spirits alum.
Her rums are the polar opposite of polite:

Dr. Smith has built a devoted cult following through her YouTube channel, where she openly teaches—step by step—how these rums are made. Transparency, experimentation, and precision are core to her philosophy.
Her latest release, “Tailspin,” pushed those ideas even further. For us, she bottled a Queen’s Share–level version, released exclusively as “Dunder Pressure.”
