This 35-year-old single grain whisky comes from Scotland’s large grain distillery Cameronbridge, distilled in March 1984, matured in a refill hogshead and bottled in only 196 bottles in November 2019 in Douglas Laing’s exclusive Xtra Old Particular range.
Tasting Notes
Nose: The nose shows a real tropical fruit character coupled with allspice and vanilla fudge.
Palate: The palate has a spiced oak quality alongside cinnamon and clove studded orange.
Finish: The deliciously moreish finish goes on and on with more citrus fruits and treacle toffee.
