Don Ramón Edición Especial Cerámica Plata Tequila — Luis Miguel Collection, 40% ABV
Don Ramón Edición Especial Cerámica Plata combines 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila with one of Don Ramón’s most distinctive presentations. Part of the Luis Miguel Collection, this special-edition Plata pairs an unaged, agave-forward tequila with an elegant deep-blue ceramic bottle inspired by the colors and landscape of Mexico.
The Luis Miguel Collection
Created in collaboration with celebrated Mexican singer Luis Miguel, the presentation is an important part of this release. The striking ceramic decanter features a rich blue finish and carries Luis Miguel’s signature, making it as much a display and gifting piece as a bottle of tequila.
Inside, however, is a traditional 100% Blue Weber Agave Plata tequila, produced in Jalisco and bottled without barrel aging, allowing the character of the cooked agave to remain at the forefront.
Production
Produced at NOM 1417 in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Don Ramón Plata is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave. The agave piñas are cooked in masonry ovens before fermentation and distillation.
With no subsequent oak maturation, the emphasis remains on cooked agave, citrus, herbs and fresh fruit rather than barrel-derived flavors.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Cooked agave leads, accompanied by citrus zest, fresh herbs and delicate floral notes.
Palate: Clean and silky, with earthy agave, bright citrus and a touch of green apple.
Finish: Crisp and refreshing, with gentle warmth, white pepper and a subtle hint of vanilla.
Enjoy neat or over a large cube to explore the spirit itself, or use it in a premium Margarita, Paloma or other agave-forward cocktail.
