Description
This is a blend of 10 parcels, vines averaging 50 years old. There’s 70% new wood. The quality of the raw material is superb, held in check a little for now by the oak. The vintage has provided juicy fruit, sitting atop the muscular house style. Give it the necessary time and this will work out well. Drink 2026-2032.

Ripe and fresh aromas include those of both red and dark berries, earth and a discreet application of wood. There is both good richness and volume to the delicious middleweight flavors that conclude in a dusty and rustic finale where touch of warmth and wood surface. This is more complex than the average example and a wine that should repay a few years of keeping if desired.
