The organic Alvarinho grapes for this Vinho Verde come from 35-50 year old vines just inside the northern border of Portugal. It’s very crisp and slightly tropical with flavors of green apple, white peach, pineapple, and a light perfume of flowers. Enjoy with any seafood or a meat and cheese spread. This 100% alvarinho is a complex wine with great balance and style. It has aromas of citrus, green apple and floral scents with a tropical background. On the palate it is full bodied and voluminous with a fresh vibrant acidity. Best enjoyed cold.
