Dailuaine 21 Years ‘Marbled Treasures’ (54.3%, OB, Diageo Special Releases 2025)

Matured in Spanish ex-sherry casks

Nose: Big sherry notes indeed. There are figs and touches of leather, alongside raisins and chocolate, but also some fruity espresso and raspberries. Whispers of ground almonds and tobacco, as well as cigar boxes and cherries. It all works wonderfully.
Taste: Mouthcoating with a gentle dryness. Nice acidity alongside dates, figs and raisins with a touch of ristretto. Then Demerara sugar and a pinch of black pepper, followed by fruity pipe tobacco and some teak wood.
Finish: Medium to long. Some orange marmelade, leather and charred oak.
