Produced in Oaxaca by mezcalero Cutberto Santiago and his family, who cook the espadin agave in stone ovens according to the traditional method, Peloton de la Meurte mezcal recalls a famous banner representing the rebel army during the Mexican revolution known as the ‘death squad’, which sought revenge for the murder of the priest Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, the founding father of independence in Mexico.
