Three decades of maturation have allowed the naturally textured Deanston spirit and the hogshead to develop together without relying on an aggressive finishing cask. Honey, citrus, creamy malt and polished oak define an elegant old-school profile.

Distillery Profile – Deanston
Deanston began distilling whisky in 1966 after the conversion of a former cotton mill on the River Teith. The Highland distillery is particularly associated with a rich, textured and naturally waxy style of spirit. In 2026 Deanston celebrated 60 years of whisky production, making this 30-year-old independent bottling a glimpse into a much earlier period of the distillery’s history.
