An Amarone defined by patience, craftsmanship and the distinctive Valpantena hills northeast of Verona. Hand-selected grapes dry for at least three months, concentrating their character before fermentation. The wine then matures for two years in tonneaux, another year in Slavonian oak and at least one year in bottle.
Dark cherry and preserved sour cherry unfold into cinnamon, black pepper and licorice. Full-bodied and velvety, with rounded tannins and balancing acidity, it delivers sumptuous depth without sacrificing elegance.
Alcohol: 16.5% ABV
Food Pairing: Braised beef, venison or mature cheeses. Also a special bottle to enjoy slowly after dinner.
